VARSITY is published 12 times a year. Eight thousand (8 000) copies of each issue are distributed free of charge to the UCT community. Our distribution points include the Upper, Middle and Lower Main Campuses, Medical Campus, Hiddingh Campus, and the main student residences. We have an estimated readership of 14 000 to 18 000 (19–24 year olds), which makes us the most effective and consistent way to reach the UCT student market.
Publishing Information
VARSITY is published as a 16- or 20-page tabloid-sized newspaper, 8–12 pages of which are printed in full colour. A clean and uncluttered design formula makes VARSITY Newspaper both easy to read and a highly desirable medium in which to advertise. An advertisement on any of our pages is guaranteed to be noticed.
