Student falls from fifth floor of Leo Marquad

UCT has offered its support to the family of a female student who fell from the fifth floor of Leo Marquad on the evening of Thursday 3 November.
The student fell out of the fifth floor window and sustained multiple injuries late in the evening. Emergency services were called to the scene. She was visiting a fellow student in the residence when the incident happened.
The student's state has been described as critical but stable. A full investigation is underway.
