Image: Chris LinegarThe Right2Know march to Parliament on Saturday, 17 September was well-attended by South Africans from all walks of life. Dressed in red, black and white, children, religious leaders, students and politicians demonstrated against the passing of the final draft of the 'Secrecy Bill'. The march started at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and ended infront of Parliament in Plein Street.

Since the first R2K march on parliament almost a year ago, numerous sections of the bill have been removed or revised. However, the final draft that is due to appear before the National Assembly still threatens the free flow of information and legitimises severe prison sentences for whistleblowers.
